Shell's Frog Collection
Below are links to pictures of my frog collection.
I started collecting frogs in January 2002. Why frogs? I'm not really sure. I had two soft frogs from my childhood and then saw a couple more that I liked on Ebay. One hopped out of A Christmas cracker, and my collection was underway. Andy helped me get started by buying me an auction of fifty frogs for my birthday and now I'm completely hooked. I like the idea that they are not the usual cute furry cuddly collectables and there is such variety in shape, size and colour. I have over two hundred frogs and toads now so please click on the links below to have a look.
Real frogs and toads are finding our environment increasingly hostile being killed on busy roads and finding their breeding water so full of chemical waste that frog sporn is not able to grow.
